Three people arrested after shot were fired on a residence

Shots were fired into a house Saturday morning which led to the arrests of an adult and two youths.

Just after midnight on the 7th, police were dispatched to the 200 block of Oakview Drive for a report of shots fired at a house.

When police arrived they learned that the sound of gunshots and glass breaking awakened residents of the house.

It was then confirmed that shots were fired into the home.

While police interviewed the residents, members of the canine unit led a search and were led to a residence on Lloyd Crescent.

A number of people were found inside the residence. The investigation led to the arrest of one adult male and two male youths without incident.

A 20-year-old man as well as 17 and 16-year-old boys are all facing charges of discharging a restricted firearm or a prohibited firearm into or at a place in a reckless manner and possession of a weapon.

They will all make their first court appearances on February 21st.
