Regina man arrested for uttering threats with a firearm

A Regina man was arrested on Friday after uttering threats to a woman with a firearm.

Police were dispatched to the 12-hundred block of Albert Street when a woman reported that she was threatened by a man who showed her the handle of a gun.

The woman gave a description of the suspect and police located and arrested him on the 27- hundred block of 5th avenue.

The man had parts of a homemade firearm on him when he was arrested.

18-year-old Rayden Sabit is now facing multiple charges:

  • Uttering Threats.
  • Carrying Concealed Prohibited Device or Ammunition.
  • Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order.
  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing Its Possession is Unauthorized.
  • Obstruct Peace Officer.

Sabit will make his first court appearance on Monday.
