Protein Industries Canada offers support to develop artificial intelligence in food production

Regina-based Protein Industries Canada has opened a new round of applications for support for its artificial intelligence program.

CEO Bill Greuel says Protein Industries Canada has a 30 million dollar program.

Its designed to help food companies and farm machinery companies use artificial intelligence to expand production and sales of prairie grown crops.

He says the new round of applications is now open until February 15th, but the organization is willing to listen to any application later on as well.
