Saturday nights are usually a good time to have a the whole family at the Brandt Centre and this weekend the Regina Pats are providing a special extra reason.

When the Pats host the Swift Current Broncos this Saturday, January 21, it will be their RE/MAX Presents: Nickelodeon Night for Children’s Miracle Network, featuring a SpongeBob SquarePants theme.

Regina will trade in their traditional blue, red and white jerseys and will be donning special SpongeBob SquarePants jerseys for the game.

The auction for all of the jerseys will begin this afternoon (Wednesday) at 3:00 and will close on Saturday night at 8:00.

Proceeds from the auction will go to the Children’s Miracle Network. Interested purchasers can bid on the special jerseys at http://www.32auctions.com/PatsNickelodeonNight.

Each jersey will have a starting bid of $200.

The Pats will square off with the Swift Current Broncos in a home and home set. Friday night the two teams will meet in Swift Current.
