Federal agriculture minister on trade mission to U.K. and Germany this week

Federal agriculture minister Marie-Claude Bibeau is on a four-day trade mission to the U.K. and Germany.

Wednesday and Thursday Bibeau will be meeting with the U.K.’s minister of Food and Rural affairs to promote Canadian agriculture products.

She will also meet with UK heads of agriculture and Food and Drink Associations to promote trade.

She also speaks at the International Grains Council forum and highlight Canada’s support for Ukraine, world food security, and sustainability in the grains value chain.

On Friday and Saturday, Bibeau is scheduled to meet in Berlin with global trading counterparts to discuss international farm trade.

She will attend the Berlin Agriculture minister’s conference to discuss how food systems can best respond to multiple crises.
