Pats jersey auction raises nearly $30,000 for Children’s Miracle Network

 

It was a successful Saturday night on and off the ice for the Regina Pats.

The Pats picked up a pair of points with a 5-2 over the Swift Current Broncos. Off the ice, the Children’s Miracle Network were the big winners, as the Pats were able to raise $29,550 from the proceeds of their jersey auction.

The Children’s Miracle Network aims to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and research.

Regina wore SpongeBob SquarePants jerseys that were auctioned off during the matchup with the Broncos.

Connor Bedard’s jersey generated the highest bid at $13,025. The next closest jerseys were Tanner Howe ($2,025), Borya Valis ($1,500), Stanislav Svozil ($1,325) and Alexander Suzdalev ($1,200).

This past weekend was the first of four jersey auctions the Pats have planned for this season.
