A 26-year-old Estevan man is facing numerous charges after police found 13 guns in two homes on January 31.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Moose Jaw Crime Reduction Team (CRT) executed two search warrants at residences in Estevan, where they located and seized seven restricted handguns, three semi-automatic firearms and three long-barrelled firearms.
One handgun and two of the long-barrelled firearms were loaded.
The 26-year-old was charged with 12 counts of unsafe firearm storage, eight counts of possession of a restricted weapon in a place other than where entitled, and eight counts of unlicensed possession of a restricted firearm with readily-available ammunition.
He made his first court appearance in Estevan on February 1.
