Defensive line continues to be a focus for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, on Monday they agreed to terms with Christian Albright.

The 23-year old signed with the Chicago Bears an undrafted free agent last season and spent training camp with the Bears.

Albright spent five seasons at Ball State University (2017-21), recording 260 tackles during that time. The defensive lineman also had 34.5 tackles for loss (151 yards), 16.5 sacks, two interceptions, 13 pass knockdowns, nine forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries.

He earned Second-Team All-MAC Honours in 2020 and Third-Team All-MAC Honours in 2018.
