In his first season with the Roughriders in action, Dean collected 101 tackles with three sacks and a pair of interceptions.
The linebacker was able to play 18 games last season after missing the 2021 season with a torn Achilles injury suffered on the first day of training camp.
Prior to joining Saskatchewan, Dean spent time with Edmonton and Hamilton.
