Winnipeg grain company G3 has renewed support for the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association.
The company is providing 50 thousand dollars to remain a top sponsor of the BeGrainSafe program.
The BeGrainSafe program raises awareness of the risks of becoming trapped in grain and providing training to firefighters in rescue techniques.
The program also provides specialized grain rescue equipment to rural fire departments.
Since the program started in 2016, dozens of rescue sets have been provided to farming communities in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec.
