He played high school and university football in the Queen City, and receiver Mitchell Picton will be remaining for the next two seasons here as well.
The Green and White have re-signed Picton to a two-year contract extension.
Picton, a LeBoldus grad, set career highs in games played, receiving yards, touchdown receptions and average yards per catch in 2022.
Picton was drafted in the fifth round, 37th overall, of the 2017 CFL draft while finishing up his career with the University of Regina Rams. He scored 24 touchdowns over five seasons with the Rams, while catching 2,431 yards worth of passes.
In his CFL career, Picton has 43 receptions for 438 yards and three touchdowns in 23 games.
Picton made his CFL debut on July 27, 2019.
