This family day long weekend, Government House is throwing open its doors, Monday.

Government House on Dewdney was built in 1891, and is the home, and office of the province’s Lieutenant Governor.

Free family activities have been set up including a puppet show, games and activities for all ages.

Kids 2-7 will get access to the “Once Upon A Time Room” which features a wide variety of play areas, hands on activities, toys, books and games.

The programming runs from 10 a.m. to noon and then 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m on Monday.
