Saskatchewan wins their first medals at Canada Winter Games

 

Saskatchewan was able to win their first three medals on Monday at the 2023 Canada Winter Games.

Rhiann Arnold of Prudhomme, SK secured a bronze medal in the biathlon 6km sprint.

Jaelyn Selinger of Regina, SK finished in fifth-place.

Halle Pipko and Jami Reschke of Regina claimed Saskatchewan’s first silver medal,  in the Gymnastics Trampoline – Synchro Female event.

In the male synchro trampoline, the team of Wilson Reimche and Connor Wehage of Saskatoon also earned a silver medal after a spectacular final routine in PEI.

Saskatchewan’s medal total is now a pair of silver medals and a bronze medal.
