Team Saskatchewan was able to add a couple of medals on Thursday afternoon at the Canada Winter Games. Both medals came from speed skating events.
In the womens 3000m, Serena Dallaire picked up her second medal of the Winter Games as she finshed 3rd in a time of 04:59.66. She finished just 00:00.51 behind second place Rachel Mallard of Ontario.
Saskatchewan also collected another silver medal, this time in the men’s pursuit. Saskatchewan finished just short of the team’s first gold medal. Quebec finished in 04:16.55 while Saskatchewan was 04:17.14.
Team Saskatchewan now has 5 silver medals and 4 bronze medals at the Canada Winter Games.
