The University of Regina Cougars Women’s Basketball team will host the University of Calgary Dinos in the Canada West Semi-Finals tonight at 7:00 at the Centre for Kinesiology, Health & Sport.

This season the Cougars ended up with a 9-1 home record (17-3 overall), but the Cougars will be looking for redemption tonight as their only loss on their home court was against the Dinos three weeks ago.

Historically the University of Regina has dominated the University of Calgary with a 9-0 all-time record in their head to head matchups during the postseason. Last week the Cougars advanced to the semi-finals with a 80-72 win over the Trinity Western Spartans. Meanwhile the Dinos were victorious against the Winnipeg Wesman.

The winner of tonight’s game will advance to the Canada West Finals next Friday.

Tomorrow the other semi-final in the Canada West will take place as the University of Saskatchewan Huskies host the University of Alberta Golden Bears.
