Former University of Regina Cougar defenceman Mike Eskra has signed a professional contract. On Friday, the ECHL’s Adirondack Thunder announced they agreed to terms with Eskra.

The 26-year-old recently finished his fourth season with the Cougars. In his final season, he had two goals and nine assists along with 78 PIM.
Prior to joining the Cougars, the Regina native spent his junior career with the SJHL’s Weyburn Red Wings for five seasons and was a captain for the Red Wings.
