Three players that were with the Regina Thunder last season will be playing in the Canada West Football Conference this year.
On Monday, the University of Regina Rams announced that former Thunder receiver Rylan Sokul and defensive lineman Payton O’Connor have committed to the team for 2023.

Last season with the Thunder, Sokul was the top receiver in the PFC with 669 receiving yards, he was second in the league with 44 receptions and his four receiving touchdowns were tied for fourth in the league.
In his only season with the Thunder, O’Connor had 2.5 sacks with the Thunder with eight tackles over nine games.
Today, the University of Saskatchewan Huskies announced that defensive lineman, Reece McCormick will be suiting up with the team this season.

McCormick had four sacks for the Thunder last season during the playoffs and combined to have 8.5 sacks over the last two years with the Thunder.
