Hopefully if you’re living in Southern Saskatchewan your snow shovel isn’t packed away just yet. The lower portion of the province could receive 10-20 cm of snow in another blast from old man winter.
The snow is projected to start Friday night with wind gusts as high as 70 km an hour.
Environment and Climate Change Canada updated the advisory Thursday afternoon into a snowfall warning.
The snow will continue into Saturday morning. The culprit? A developing low pressure system in Montana.
ECCC meteorologists earlier said that given the “uncertainty” of the system’s track, the system could end up further south – which would substantially decrease the amount of snow that the southern portion of the province receives.
