Fundraiser offers chance to be a real life “Super Hero”

The Easter Seals Drop Zone is is set to return August 26th to the side of Hill Tower II in Regina.

The big event raises money for Easter Seals – an organization that helps support individuals experiencing disability in Saskatchewan.

Every year the fundraiser helps send kids to Camp Easter Seals – the only fully accessible camp in the province.

“On average is costs $1955 to send one person to camp Easter Seal for one week – each year we have close to 600 campers in attendance – which is all thanks to fundraisers like the Drop Zone,” said Donna Mouflier fundraising specialist with the Drop Zone.

“The Drop Zone is knee-shaking, heart pounding, adrenaline pumping fundraising adventure, that is asking Regina residents to put on their capes and become superheros,” says Mouflier.

She adds that participants really are heros for the thousands of individuals who benefit from the programs offered by Easter Seals Saskatchewan.

Since 2007 the Drop Zone has raised more than a million dollars .
