Moose Jaw fatal February fire determined to be accidental

The Moose Jaw Police Service and the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency, have the determined that the cause of the fire to the multi-unit dwelling located in the 200 block of Athabasca St. W. last month was accidental and not caused by human hand.
Two people were found dead in the early morning fire on Feb. 23. Firefighters battled the blaze and found the bodies of two people. Names of the deceased were not released.

Just over three weeks later. the area remains fenced off.

With no foul play is suspected in the fire, the Moose Jaw police have concluded their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire and the deaths of the occupants.
