The best of high school basketball in Saskatchewan is on display in Prince Albert this weekend with HOOPLA 2023 taking place.

In 5A Girls side, Riffel opened up the tournament on Friday with a 89-40 win over Centennial over Saskatoon. They will meet St. Joseph’s in the semi-finals tonight with 6:00 tip-off.

Second ranked Harvest City defeated P.A. Carlton 66-55 in their opening matchup yesterday. In their semi-final matchup they will meet Swift Current.

On the boys side, in 5A action, Riffel defeated St. Joesph’s 93-72. Tonight the Royals will meet Walter Murray in a semi-final matchup.

Miller was defeated by PA Carlton yesterday 89-76, knocking them down into the consolation bracket.  They will take on Peacock from Moose Jaw in their game today.
