Bedard and Svozil Named WHL All Stars

More accolades for two members of the Regina Pats.

Forward Connor Bedard, and defenseman Stanislav Svozil have been named to the WHL’s Eastern All Star Team.

The 17 year old Bedard notched 71 goals and 72 assists to lead the league in scoring.  Bedard is the clear front runner to be the first overall pick at this summer’s NHL entry draft.

Svozil enjoyed a strong season as well, ranking first in power play assists (36), second in assists (67), second in points per-game (1.39), and third in points (78), all while playing in just 56 games.

The Regina Pats are preparing for their first round playoff match up against the Saskatoon Blades.  Games one and two are set for the Bridge City this Friday and Sunday.
