SaskTip releases rural crime of the month

SaskTip has released the latest rural crime of the month.

SaskTip communications co-ordinator Cody Osbourne is asking for the public’s help in identifying those responsible for a cruel act of running down a coyote with a snowmobile.

He says the incident happened near Francis in late February.

Osbourne says the 4 mile chase began near Sedley and conservation officers are asking anyone to come forward with information.

He says the use of a snowmobile to chase down wildlife has a penalty which runs around 15 hundred dollars and possible seizure of the vehicle.
