The Saskatchewan Government has released its latest CRISP report showing 95 deaths due to COVID-19 since the start of 2023. These deaths occurred in people between the ages of 20 and 59 except for 15 of the deaths which occurred in people 60 years of age and older.
Of the 95 deaths, 18 of them occurred between March 12 and March 25.
The report also shows that there have been zero reported deaths of influenza since the start of the year.
Between March 19 and March 25, there have been 242 positive laboratory tests reported, the positivity rate sits at 9.4 per cent.
As for vaccination rates, 46.2 per cent of people have received their full vaccination series and a booster. However, only 21 per cent of people 12 years of age and older have received their Moderna or Phizer bivalent vaccine.
