The Saskatchewan Wheat Development Commission has announced almost half a million dollars to four research projects.
SaskWheat chair Brett Halsted says the four projects are funded through the Alberta Agriculture Funding Consortium and will look at important research projects.
He says these projects include efficient fertilizer application and studying herbicide resistance.
He calls the project a multi-province, collaborative funding effort to improve farm profitability.
Halsted says SaskWheat has committed over 6.6 million dollars to the research funding consortium since 2016.
