Riders add ex-NFL DB Rashard Robinson

The Saskatchewan Roughriders added a defensive back with some NFL experience to their secondary.

Rashard Robinson agreed to terms with the green and white.

The former LSU Tiger was selected in the fourth-round pick by the San Francisco 49ers in 2016 and spent some time with the Niners before moving on to the New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Bucaneers.

Robinson (6’2-177) played 49 regular season NFL games and made 18 career starts over five seasons.

He earned 89 career tackles, 15 passes defended, two interceptions, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
