It was a best of seven series, now this first round playoff series between Saskatoon and the Regina Pats is now a best of three.
The series is tied at two, with neither team able to win at home.
So far the series has been great entertainment, with games two, three and four ending in overtime, unfortunately for Pats fans, the overtime wins in games three and four went to the Blades.
The Pats know they will have to dig a little deeper if they are going to come back from Saskatoon with a win in game 5.

“We had a couple of two goal leads” says Pats star Connor Bedard “I mean they are a good team, and can put the puck in the net, but you can’t blow those leads”
“I though we had a pretty good start, and played pretty well” said Coach and GM John Paddock ” We had some soft plays on the puck, and we should have been able to get it out of our end, and it builds and builds, and gives them some momentum”.
So with the series now a best of three, what does the coach say to the team?
” You know I think for us, we have been telling them all along there’s ups and downs during a game, and during a playoff series, and ebb and flow and its magnified in the playoffs” said the veteran coach.
Game five is set for Saskatoon tomorrow (Friday), with game six in Regina on Saturday night. Tickets for that game went on sale on today and are expected to be all snapped up by game time Saturday.
