An eight year old boy on Red Earth Cree Nation was struck and killed by a bus just after being let off of the bus yesterday afternoon.
The bus stopped to let the child out and he travelled in the same direction as the bus.
Carrot River RCMP and EMS provided first aid to the child, who was later declared deceased on the scene.
No charges have been laid and Carrot River RCMP continue to investigate.
