Pats Connor Bedard named WHL Player of the Week

 

For the second straight week, Regina Pats forward Connor Bedard has been named the Western Hockey League Player of the Week.

Over the last week, Bedard led all WHL players with 11 points (6G-5A) in four games.

In the Pats first round series against the Blades, the 17-year-old has collected 19 points (10G-9A) in six games.

This past week, Bedard became the first WHL player since 2012 to score 10 or more goals in a single playoff series.

Tonight the Pats will finish up their series against the Blades with Game 7 from SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon.
