Three Saskatchewan R.M.s offering bounties for coyotes

Three rural municipalities in southern Saskatchewan are taking aim at coyotes.

The R-Ms of Weyburn, Cymri and Estevan are offering 20-dollar-bounties for each set of four paws that are turned in.

Ray Orb, president of the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities, says farmers and ranchers have told him the coyote problem is bad and getting worse.

Orb says coyotes can pose a threat to livestock and even people.
