Championship rounds begin at Canadian Ringette Championships

 

The round-robin portion of the Canadian Ringette Championships wrapped up on Thursday in Regina, with the semi-finals set for the respective divisions.

In the National Ringette League championships, one semi-final will be an all-Alberta affair Calgary Rath will meet the Edmonton WAM!. The other semi-final matchup will feature Montreal Mission and the Waterloo Wildfire.

The Saskatchewan Heat will compete in the consolation semi-finals against the Nepean Ravens, while the other consolation final will see the Edmonton Black Gold Rush battle the Manitoba Herd.

In the U16 division Team Brunswick will meet the St. Alberta Mission with the other matchup of the championship bracket Team Alberta square off with the Calgary Core.

Alberta dominated the matchups in the U19 division with the four remaining teams all hailing from Alberta. AB4 St Alberta Mission will face off against AB3 Fusion. On the other sideAB2 Zone 2 Blaze vs AB1 Team Alberta fight for a place in the gold medal match.
