Suzdalev assigned to AHL’s Hershey Bears by Capitals

 

Another member of the Regina Pats will have their season extended.

Forward Alexander Suzdalev has been assigned the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Hershey Bears by the Washington Capitals.

Suzdalev led all Western Hockey League (WHL) rookies this season in goals (38), assists (48), points (86), power play goals (17), and power play assists (19), and was tied for first in points per-game (1.30).

The 19-year-old was selected by Washington in the third round of the 2021 NHL Draft.

Hershey has one game remaining on their regular season schedule. They currently are in first place of the Atlantic Division.
