The Regina Rebels opened up the 2023 Esso Cup (Women’s U18 Club Championship)  in Prince Albert with a 3-1 win on Sunday over the Etoiles Laurentides-Lanaudière, the Quebec representative of the tournament.

Greta Henderson, Stryker Zablocki, Jada Johns picked up the goals for the Rebels. Regina had a 45-12 advantage on the shot clock. The Rebels were 2 for 9 on the power play.

Next action for the Rebels is Monday afternoon when they meet the Stoney Creek Sabres of Ontario.
