YQR Summer Adventures Abound as City Launches Leisure Guide

Summer is just around the corner, and as always, parents will be hearing the familiar chorus of “we’re bored” from their little ones.

But fear not! The city of Regina has you covered with their brand new summer leisure guide, packed with hundreds of safe, accessible, and affordable programs for all ages.

It’s always a challenge for parents to keep their children entertained during the summer months, but with the guide, they can easily find great ways to keep their kids active and engaged.

It’s important to note that registration for these programs opens on Tuesday, May 9th at 7am, so it’s best to act fast and secure your spot in the programs you’re interested in before they fill up.

Aside from the programs listed in the leisure guide, the city of Regina also offers many outdoor spaces to enjoy during the summer. If you’re looking to stay active, you can try out one of the outdoor basketball, tennis, or pickleball courts.

If you have a furry friend, there are eight seasonal off-leash dog parks in addition to three year-round off-leash parks that are open for your dog to run and play.

For more information on the programs and activities offered in the summer leisure guide, you can visit the city of Regina here  or call 306-777-PLAY.
