Government launches MySaskHealthRecord mobile app

Saskatchewan residents with a MySaskHealthRecord can now see their health records on their cell phones.

The app has the same functionality as the web-based version of the tool. It allows users to see laboratory test results, medical imaging reports, immunization history, prescription history, and clinical visit history.

It also allows users to add their information to track and generate reports, set medication and appointment reminders, and share information with other MySaskHealthRecord users.

Dr. Nelson Leong said MySaskHealthRecord provides the information patients need to manage their health.

“A lot of my patients want to play a role in guiding their own health care, and the mobile app makes it that much easier. I see this as a real enhancement to the care I can provide and my relationship with my patients.”

All data in the app is stored securely, and citizens must still log in using the Government of Saskatchewan authentication processes.
