Traffic Stop leads to Weapons Charges

On May 2nd RPS conducted a traffic stop and found a 17 year old driver did not have a valid drivers license.

As the driver got out of the vehicle, police observed weapons and a substance believed to be methamphetamine inside the vehicle.

As a result, the driver and the three other occupants of the vehicle were arrested.

During the arrest, one of the occupants, a 31-year-old male, was found to be in breach of conditions of probation. A search was conducted, and a loaded firearm, along with additional ammunition, was found. This put the male in breach of firearms prohibition orders, and he was subsequently charged.

Thirty One year old Dysan D’Shaun Miller is now facing a long list of firearms charges Miller made their first appearance in court this morning.
