A 15 year old is facing weapons charges after an incident in the early hours of this May 5th, 2023.

Police were called to the 500 block of Cityview Crescent in North East Regina to investigate a report of a man, carrying a gun.

Once there police entered a residence and  found a can of bear spray and a loaded gun.

An Investigation led to the arrest of one of the occupants in the residence, a 15 year-old male, who was charged with firearm possession.

The accused will not be named in keeping with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act and will make their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Youth Court today, Friday, May 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
