Evacuation Order Lifted for SK First Nations Threatened by Wildfires

In a glimmer of hope for residents of La Loche and Saulteaux First Nation, the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency has announced that evacuation orders have been lifted, as fires that had previously forced them out are now contained.

While 15 fires still rage across the province, 10 have been contained, and fire bans remain in effect in the central and western regions.

Despite progress made in containing the wildfires, officials continue to monitor the situation closely and urge residents to remain vigilant.

One resource at the disposal of saskatchewan residents is the website of the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency website for up to date information on wildfires and air quality.
