Rainfall warning in place for southern, southeastern Saskatchewan

Some good news if you like lots of rain on weekends and you live in the southern or southeastern part of the province: A rainfall warning has been issued for Estevan, Weyburn, Assiniboia, Coronach and Gravelbourg.

About 40-60 millimeters of rain in total is expected and higher amounts are possible. Much less is expected in the Regina area, which is only forecast to see 10-15 mm of rain Friday as of 11 a.m.

The rain is expected to begin later today. Visibility may be affected in some of the more torrential rainfall.
