Yorkton RCMP charge five after robbery, illicit drugs seized during related search warrant

Yorkton RCMP has charged five men after a robbery led to police seizing illicit drugs.

On May 10, Yorkton RCMP received a report of a robbery where a man was confined in a residence and was physically assaulted and robbed.

RCMP would execute a search warrant at another resident where officers located and seized approximately 65 grams of illicit drugs, primarily methamphetamine with small amounts of cocaine and fentanyl.

Police also found trafficking paraphernalia, knives, a machete, a baton and an imitation firearm. They also located and seized several tools, which the investigation has determined were stolen during recent local break-ins.

34-year-old Ian Musqua and 38-year-old Kristi Kraft from Yorkton were arrested and charged with various charges, including robbery and forcible confinement.

Yorkton RCMP has also charged 43-year-old Troy Branconnier from Yorkton, 33-year-old Desmond Henry from Regina and 36-year-old Austin Keshane in the investigation.

Warrants have been issued for their arrests, and Yorkton RCMP is working to locate them.

Troy Banconnier is described as 6’ and 200 lbs. He has brown hair, brown eyes and neck tattoos.

Desmond Henry is described as 5’11” and 200 lbs. He has brown hair, hazel eyes and tattoos on his hands and arms.

Austin Keshane is described as 6’3” and 250 lbs. He has black hair, which he sometimes wears shaved, brown eyes and tattoos near his ears and under his eye.
