Red Sox defeat 57’s 9-3 in 7 innings

 

 

The Regina Red Sox evened out their record (3-3) with a 9-3 win over the Swift Current 57’s at Mitchell Field.

Wednesday’s game was called after seven innings.

Bitner Workman, Kyle Revere and Dylan Edmands all homered for the Red Sox in the win.

Cameron Hoods collected the win with a five-inning effort. He allowed one run on one hit and picked up three strikeouts.

The Red Sox return to action on Thursday night at Currie Field with a matchup against the Medicine Hat Mavericks with a 7:05 opening pitch.
