Regina Shows Its Pride

The organizers were hoping for a bigger and better Pride Parade, and their hopes were fulfilled.

Throngs of people lined the route from downtown Regina into Wascana Park, in near perfect weather conditions, for the crown jewel of “Pride Week” in Regina.

From floats, to marchers and vehicles it was a colourful way for people to show its support for the LGTBQIA2S+ community.

Media groups, politicians, businesses and more participated in the parade which started at noon, and ended in Wascana Park for Pride Week’s “Out In The Park Event”.

Parade organizers believe this was the best attended parade so far, which also had a whole lot of entries to be in the parade.
