Red Sox fall to Mavericks 11-5

 

It was not the Regina Red Sox’s night as they were defeated by the Medicine Hat Mavericks 11-5.

Medicine Hat would open up the scoring with four runs in the first inning, they would later add six more runs in the 6th inning.

Cameron Brantley had three hits for Regina. Cameron Hood took the loss as he lasted only a third of an inning, allowing four runs on three hits.

The Red Sox move back to .500 with the loss (16-16).

Regina will now host the Brooks Bombers over the next two nights at Currie Field, beginning tonight with the opening pitch at 7:05.
