Two men charged in Regina’s first homicide of 2023

Two people have been charged in Regina’s first homicide of 2023.

On February 9, the Regina Police Service was dispatched to a 600 block of Garnet Street residence for a report of an injured person.

Information received was that the 36-year-old victim Patrick Badger died of an overdose. However, a further investigation into the circumstances of his death determined it to be a homicide.

As a result of the investigation, 46-year-old Peter Sheepskin of Regina and 25-year-old Darien Toto of Regina have both been charged with second-degree murder.

Both men had their first court appearance on July 7.
