ParticiPACTION has named Regina as Saskatchewan’s Most Active Community.

Residents were encouraged to get active throughout June as part of the fourth edition of the Community Challenge.

Regina tracked over 2.2 million minutes of physical activity through 300 community members and organizations.

The Queen City also won $15,000, which will be used to support the installation of the accessible elevator for the Wascana Pool waterslides, the first for any outdoor pool in Canada.
