The Regina Red Sox’s season is on the line tonight at Currie Field when they host the Medicine Hat Mavericks.
Last night, the Mavericks defeated the Red Sox, 11-3 in the first game of the best of three series.
Second baseman Dylan Edmands and centre fielder Anthony Sharkas each had three hits for Regina.
Zane Pollon took the loss, allowing seven hits, giving up five runs, three that were unearned.
Medicine Hat was leading 5-3 heading into the bottom of the 7th before the piled on six extra runs in the final two innings.
