Former running back Kory Sheets will be in the Queen City next month. Sheets established a record 197 rushing yards in the 2013 Grey Cup as he was named the Most Outstanding Player for the game. Sheets was also named a CFL All-Star in 2013.

Joining Sheets will be Tyron Brackenridge. The former safety was a CFL All-Star for two seasons (2013,2014) and was named the Roughriders Most Outstanding Defensive Players on two occasions (2012,2013).

Tristian Jackson will also be back in Regina for the celebrations. The former returner was the Roughriders Most Outstanding Special Teams Player in 2014. Jackson said in a team release, “I’m beyond excited to get back to celebrate with Rider Nation. It’s been way too long. They’ll always have a special place in my heart. Love you guys, see y’all soon.”

Chris Getzlaf will be another player that will be attending the ceremonies. The former receiver was named the Most Outstanding Canadian in the 2013 Grey Cup. Getzlaf will be entering the Plaza of Honour for a second time, as he was inducted as a player back in 2021.

Regina product Neil Hughes will also be on hand for the induction. Hughes will also enter the Plaza of Honour for a second time, as he was inducted as a player in 2019.

There will be several more Roughriders players that will be in Regina for the celebration of the 2013 Grey Cup team next month. The team said the first weekend of October will be filled with community appearances, autograph sessions and fan interactions.
