Ex-Rider Derel Walker joins Tiger-Cats

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have added a veteran presence to their lineup for the playoff stretch.

On Wednesday, they announced they’ve signed WR Derel Walker along with DL Jamal Davis II.

Walker suited up for one game with Saskatchewan at the beginning of the 2023 season, catching three passes for 28 yards and a touchdown.

The 32-year-old suffered a knee injury and was later released by the Roughriders in August.

Davis II signed with Hamilton after the Montreal Alouettes granted his request for a release.

He had 22 tackles and three sacks in 14 games with the Alouettes this season.
