Regina Thunder running back Ryland Leichert was recognized for his efforts this past week as he was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week in the CJFL.

Leichert racked up 199 rushing yards along with a pair of touchdowns in the Thunder’s 50-14 win over the Calgary Colts.

In six games this season, the Thunder running back has collected 831 rushing yards along with five touchdowns.

Regina has 5-1 record and are in second place of the Prairie Football Conference.

The Thunder will have another chance at the Hilltops when the two teams meet in Saskatoon on Saturday night.
