Pats looking for a win on the road in Prince Albert

The Regina Pats will try and rebound from their first loss of the season when they head north to meet the Prince Albert Raiders.

On Wednesday, the Pats were defeated by the Moose Jaw Warriors 4-2. Tanner Howe and Tye Spencer were the goal scorers for Regina.

Tonight’s game will be a homecoming for Howe. The Pats captain spent time with the Prince Albert Mintos U18 AAA team before joining the Western Hockey League. He currently leads the Pats in scoring after the first three games with 6 points (2G-4A).

The powerplay was a weapon for Regina in their two victories going 3 for 7 before they were shutout on the extra man advantage against Moose Jaw (0 for 5). The Raiders have been sharp on the penalty kill in the early stages of the season, only allowing one powerplay goal through 13 opportunities.
